Workshop: Data wrangling in Python

Overview:聽Data wrangling is a crucial step in the preparation of data before performing analyses. This workshop is designed to teach how to manipulate data in Python. We will cover data structure, data manipulation, and simple data analysis.
At the end of the workshop, you will be able to:
> Import csv and .txt data;
> Extract data from a matrix based on different types of criteria;
> Deal with missing values;
> Apply simple operations to a matrix of data.
Prerequisites:
- Basic knowledge of how to execute simple Python scripts, understanding of the different types of variables and knowledge of how to load and use libraries.聽
- You must bring your own laptop for this workshop.聽
Location:聽HYBRID. Online via Zoom, or in-person at聽聽room 1104 (11th floor).
