Abstract
This talk will give an overview of our current research in the field of physiological measurements of quality in the (audio) visual domain. Two studies will be presented where we used electroencephalography (EEG) and standard quality measures to gain insight into physiological processes underlying the perception of visually degraded stimuli. We could show that the brain responses are different for distorted and non-distorted stimuli. An overview of the used methodologies and results will be given.
