"Measles is a very serious disease that we in Canada have largely forgotten about because, until recently, almost all Canadians and most people in the world had been successfully protected by the vaccine. Several factors, including conflicts, COVID-19鈥檚 disruption of vaccination programs, and growing vaccine resistance in many communities have resulted in a worldwide resurgence in measles cases. This resurgence is now reaching Canada."聽
