A warm welcome to all new and returning students

Orientation activities set the tone for a new academic year.

Over a period of four days during the third week of August, the Ingram School of Nursing hosted lively and informative Orientation sessions. Incoming students had the opportunity to learn more about their respective programs, ask questions, meet their peers and collect some ISoN swag!

In her welcoming remarks to each program cohort, Josée Bonneau, ISoN Associate Director – Education, noted that the start of a new academic year is filled with excitement and anticipation for students and faculty alike. Pointing out that nurses provide 90% of healthcare services around the world, Prof. Bonneau said that no other health care professional has such a broad and far-reaching role. “My wish for each of you is that you will flourish here at the Ingram School of Nursing and in your careers. We know that when nurses flourish, so do their colleagues, patients, families and communities,” she concluded.

Special thanks to the amazing Nursing Student Affairs Office team for organizing these much appreciated and well attended events.
