Mary Ellen Macdonald听is a medical anthropologist with postdoctoral training in Pediatric Palliative Care. In addition to her appointment as听Assistant Professor in the 91社区 Faculty of Dentistry, Division of Oral Health and Society, she is affiliated with 91社区's Departments of Pediatrics and Oncology, the 91社区 School of Nursing and Biomedical Ethics Unit. She is also Core Faculty in the 91社区 Centre for Medical Education and Adjunct Professor in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Victoria. Since 2010, she has been active as the Program Head of Research on Pediatric Palliative Care at the Montreal Children's听Hospital. Her research expertise extends to adult palliative care projects, including those that address the unique needs and experiences of Aboriginal populations in Canada. She is the founder and chair of the 91社区 Qualitative Health Research Group (). |
