Online Seminar - Regulation of Hematopoiesis and Immunity by Histone Deubiquitinases MYSM1 and BAP1
Friday, February 12, 2021 11:00to12:00
My research interests are in the biology of hematopoietic stem cells and the regulation of blood and immune cell production in health and disease, with a focus on transcriptional and epigenetic mechanisms. In this seminar, I will give an overview of different projects ongoing in my lab, covering: a) the role of chromatin binding deubiquitinase MYSM1 in transcriptional regulation of normal and malignant hematopoiesis, b) the regulation of B lymphocyte development and humoral immune response by deubiquitinase BAP1, and c) hematopoietic stem cell responses to genotoxic and inflammatory stress, and hematopoietic dysfunction in patients with rheumatoid arthritis.
This seminar will be given online via Zoom. Details in attached poster.
