Two recent publications in the journal Children describe how feedback from our implementation research was used by international organizations delivering and scaling up parenting programs in Bhutan and Zambia.Ìý Using both quantitative methods such as rating the quality of parenting sessions on a new tool with 15 dimensions, and qualitative methods such as in-depth interviews with the frontline workforce, over several years, showed that feedback was used more successfully by the Bhutan team to improve their delivery quality over time.Ìý Although both teams worked to scale up their programs horizontally across the country and vertically throughout the government system, the Bhutan team was more attentive to quality and impact.
