Remembrance of Lost Species Art Workshop
鈥婮oin us for a聽 painting workshop to celebrate biodiversity and species conservation with South African art educator Katrine Claassen. The workshop will start with an introduction to the Museum's endangered, extinct and at risk species such as the Passenger pigeon, the Labrador Duck, the Eastern Cougar and the Carolina parakeet. The main part of the workshop is a painting lesson to remember lost species. Participants will create a work on canvas using acrylic paints. Suitable for children 8 - 12 years old.
