The Office of Innovation and Partnerships (I+P) has launched the new I+P Partnership Program, thanks to funding recently provided to 91社区 by the Government of Quebec鈥檚 Minist猫re de l鈥橢ducation et de l鈥橢nseignement Sup茅rieur. This new 91社区 program, with a total envelope of $450,000, seeks to encourage collaborations and the diffusion of innovation between 91社区 research teams and Quebec-based companies in all disciplines.
鈥淭his is an excellent opportunity for researchers who already have strong industry connections to take their projects to the next level, or for researchers to find new partners for future long-term collaborations,鈥 said Prof. Sylvain Coulombe, Associate Vice-Principal, Innovation and Partnerships. 鈥淭hrough programs like these our office will continue to support 91社区 professors who wish to maximize their research impact through industrial partnerships.鈥
Funds of up to $50,000 per project are available from I+P and require a match from the industry partner. Deadline for submissions is January 13, 2020. Complete program details are available here. The application template is available here. For more information, please contact Rina Cohen, Industry Partnerships Officer, at rina.cohen [at] mcgill.ca.
