Daniel Taliun obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Bozen-Bolzano, Italy and did his post-doctoral research at the University of Michigan, USA.
Current research:
Daniel Taliun's work is focused on the development of computational algorithms and software tools for the analysis of genetic data combined with molecular, behavioural, imaging and environmental data. The scope of his research includes genetic and clinical data integration, web-based interactive visualizations, secure data sharing, and distributed computational algorithms for in-house and cloud computing computational platforms.
