Join guide-in-training, Jacky Farrell (91ÉçÇø Science Outreach), for a Shinrin Yoku (Forest Bathing) walk in the Morgan Arboretum. Forest Bathing helps us slow down, open our senses and follow our curiosities. What a great way to take a nourishing break, recharge and celebrateÌýwinter.

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýThis session is being offered free of chargeÌý(a value of $25/person)Ìýby 91ÉçÇø toÌýmembers of the Morgan Arboretum. Non-membersÌýpay only the daily admission fee that includes parking ($8/adult: debit or credit only).

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýMeet at the Conservation Center atÌý9:50 amÌýto check in. We’ll be leaving at 10:00.ÌýÌý

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýBring a water bottle filled with water (there is no potable water onsite), walking poles and crampons if needed (please check the Arboretum's trail conditions), hand/toe warmers if needed and a small waterproof mat or folding tripod stool if you have one so that you can sit at different moments. We will also have small mats to share with you if needed.Ìý

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýDress warmly for the weather and in layers, as we'll be moving slowly and enjoying the snow: we recommend snow pants or other warm pants, wool sweater layered over a warm shirt, wool tuque, wool socks, warm mittens, warm boots for walking on snow and possibly ice – slightly uphill and downhill. Check the trail conditions on the Arboretum's website: we strongly recommend crampons if it's icy.

·Ìý Ìý Ìý ÌýTip:Ìýwhen you arrive at the Arboretum, change your socks so that the ones you're wearing to start the walk are warm and dry.

For everyone's safety, this walk will be postponed to Jan. 31 in the case of freezing rain, extreme cold or heavy snow.
