Student experience
Hear it from one of our students:
"I chose to study Nutrition at 91ÉçÇø, with a concentration in Global Nutrition. I took courses ranging from Food Fundamentals, where we learned the role of ingredients and nutrients while preparing food in the food lab, to the Herbs, Foods and Phytochemicals class, which taught us about herbal medicine and featured guest speakers such as farm-to-table chefs, entrepreneurs in Montreal and farmers. While interning at a community center in Montreal, creating and cooking healthy meals, I developed a passion for Food Security. This led me to the Nutrition in Developing Countries and Public Health and Nutrition classes, which taught us about nutrition interventions. Lastly, I had the opportunity to take a research course where I assisted my Professor in a nutrition sensitive agriculture intervention that took place in rural Ghana."
