Teaching and Learning Services (TLS) is dedicated to helping instructors develop their teaching skills and support their professional development. TLS collaborates with instructors, departments, Faculties, and fellow teaching support units to create adaptable and innovative learning environments in which outstanding teaching is recognized and rewarded. TLS provides a range of resources, programs, and services including:
- : A collection of articles about course planning and implementation, including information about .
- : Posts related to teaching and learning—experiences, strategies, resources, opinions—in higher education.
- Course design support: Targeted support to (re)design one of your courses with a learning centered approach. Available on-demand, online, or in-person.
- Events: Workshops, webinars, and symposia on topics such as using teaching technologies, engaging students, and equitable teaching.
- Teaching portfolio support: Resources, examples, and one-on-one assistance with developing your teaching portfolio, which is required for promotion and tenure.
- Consultations: Personalized teaching support for individual instructors or units/programs. Contact us for support on course planning, teaching strategies, teaching technologies, etc.

Student Services is located in the Brown Building at the Downtown campus, and in the Centennial Centre at Macdonald Campus. It is comprised of 11 units:

Student Accessibility & Achievement
Student Accessibility & Achievement provides support services and reasonable accommodations to undergraduate, graduate and postdoctoral students with documented disabilities of either a permanent, temporary or episodic nature.
