BBME students come from a wide range of backgrounds including engineering, physics, chemistry, biology and medicine, among others. Master's (thesis)
The BBME Master鈥檚 program focuses on the interdisciplinary application of methods, paradigms, technologies, and devices from engineering and the natural sciences to problems in biology, medicine, and the life sciences, preparing students for careers in industry, academia, hospitals and government and provide a solid basis for PhD studies.
Master's (non-thesis)
BBME offers a Master's of Engineering (non-thesis) in Biological & Biomedical Engineering with a concentration in biomanufacturing that聽addresses the need to enhance Canada鈥檚 biomanufacturing excellence and pandemic readiness by helping to build our talent pipeline.
Doctoral
The BBME Ph.D. program integrates quantitative concepts and engineering tools for the study of life sciences and/or for patient care. Through courses and thesis research, this program will prepare students for careers in industry, academia, hospitals and government.
