Research Day - April 23, 2025

The Faculty of Dental Medicine and Oral Health Sciences organizes an annual Research Day. At this event undergraduate students, graduate students, postdocs and residents present their latest research results as poster and oral presentations.

Dentathon - February 10, 2025

Dentathon is a Faculty-wide seed-funding/pilot-project competition. The goal of the competition is to foster collaborations between faculty members and provide project seed-funding, especially for clinician-scientists. 

Summer Institute in Innovative Methodologies

The Summer Institute is co-organized by the Faculty of Dental Medicine and Oral Health Sciences and the Department of Family Medicine. It will provide participants with the knowledge and skills required to conduct or evaluate mixed methods research, a powerful methodology to address the growing complexity of research questions relating to human health and wellbeing. Coached by a team of mixed methods researchers, participants will have several opportunities to acquire knowledge on the conduct of mixed methods studies and mixed studies reviews.

Graduate Student Forum

The 91ÉçÇø Dentistry Graduate Students Forum is a student-led initiative that serves as a bi-weekly platform to provide graduate students and other members of the Faculty of Dental Medicine and Oral Health Sciences at 91ÉçÇø with the opportunity to network and learn from one another, as well as those from other sectors and universities. Different topics are discussed in an informal environment, including but not limited to: oral health research, career paths, proposal presentations, methodologies, etc. In addition to these, other speakers are invited to increase the interdisciplinary understandings of the members of this Faculty. The formats of these weekly sessions range from lectures to workshops and are flexible to the speakers’ and audiences’ needs.
