ELIGIBILITY:

• Student Initiative Fund (SIF) funding is only available to Undergraduate and Graduate students in the Faculty of Engineering.
• Events / initiatives must have other funding confirmed FIRST (i.e. funding from your department, sponsorships, fundraising, etc.).听You should not complete听the SIF request webform until you have secured other funding.
• A student group/team should be able to fund their initiative without SIF funding.

DEADLINES:

• Fall 2024:
  Applications submitted by September 30, 2024 = Reviewed & processed by October / November 2024
  听
• Winter 2025:
  Applications submitted by January 31, 2025 = Reviewed & processed in February / March 2025
  听
• Summer 2025:
  Applications submitted by May 31, 2025 = Reviewed & processed in June /July 2025
  听

• 3 months after funding confirmation is the deadline to submit:
  • 1-PAGE REPORT of activities including a photo
  • RECEIPTS for all expenses
    • Groups that submit their receipts to EUS must provide an EUS report in lieu of the receipts.
      听

IMPORTANT:

• Any unused funds must be returned to the 91社区 Engineering Student Centre (MESC)
• Future funding requests will not be considered for teams/groups that do not submit reports & receipts.
• As requestor, you are responsible for submitting the 1-page summary report along with receipts.
• By completing this form, you allow the Faculty of Engineering to release, as deemed appropriate, information pertaining to your student group and report to donors, the Dean, University Advancement (UA) and 91社区 Engineering Student Centre (MESC) staff.
