Additional information about the individual programs can be found聽HERE.

Applicants for the聽Ph.D. program聽must normally hold an M.Sc. degree. However, candidates who have only a B.Sc. degree but who have demonstrated academic excellence (cGPA of 3.7 out of a possible maximum of 4.0 throughout their undergraduate studies) can be considered for direct entry into the Ph.D., if they so desire. These candidates should clearly indicate (on the application form) that they are seeking entry into the Ph.D. program rather than the M.Sc.

Applicants for the聽M.Sc., M.Sc. (Environment Option), Graduate Diploma in Clinical Research, or Graduate Certificate in Regenerative Medicine must hold a B.Sc. degree or its equivalent.

Applicants for the聽M.Sc. (Bioethics Option)聽program must hold an M.D., Nursing, Physical and Occupational Therapy and/or any other professional health training degree. Students who do not fit these criteria may be considered for admission on an individual basis.

Applicants for the聽M.Sc. (Digital Health Innovation Option)聽program聽is open to those with health professional or informatics/ computer science/ data science/engineering/quantitative basic science undergraduate training. A minimum GPA of 3.2 is required to be admitted to the program as well as evidence of successful completion of a CEGEP or higher-level course in calculus or advanced math.

Applicants for the M.Sc. or Ph.D. program who wish to undertake a double program (M.Sc. or Ph.D. combined with a Medical Residency or Fellowship) must be already admitted to a PGME Program at 91社区 (Residency/Fellowship/CIP). Students must meet the admission requirements for the M.Sc. or Ph.D., and submit all necessary documents by the application deadlines. In addition, students must obtain the support of both programs (EXMD + PGME/CIP) and their supervisor for graduate studies before undertaking a double program.
