Using a technique called photogrammetry, we are able to make 3D models of virtually anything. We do this by taking a series of pictures at different angles of the asset, and then put them through AutoDesk ReMake, the software that renders the object. Once an asset has been rendered, we can perform a number of calculations on them, align them to other objects and see how they fit together, etc. With this technique, we will be providing valuable data that will help design more comfortable better fitting ice-hockey helmets.
