Real Time PCR/Quantitative PCR

REAL-TIME PCR CYCLER

A real-time polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) is a laboratory technique of molecular biology based on the polymerase chain reaction (PCR). It monitors the amplification of a targeted DNA molecule during the PCR. Once the conditions are optimized, a large number of samples can be run at the same time (endogenous control, standard curve, unknown samples, NTC).

There are three Real Time PCR available:

  • Rotor Gene - Corbett Research RG 3000

The 7500 Fast Real-Time PCR System enables you to perform high-speed thermal cycling with run times for quantitative real-time PCR applications.

The StepOnePlusâ„¢ Real-Time PCR System is a 96-well Real-Time PCR instrument perfect for both first-time and experienced users.

The Corbett Research RG 3000 is a reliable thermal cycler, allowing researchers to perform PCR reactions quickly while also giving them the ability to monitor the reaction in real-time. The cycler holds either 36-0.2 ml or 72-0.1 ml standard PCR tubes and it is an open chemistry platform.

All users are responsible for purchase of all disposables.
