Dr. Basik鈥檚 research program is the identification of amplified and over聽expressed genes in primary, metastatic or anti-cancer treatment resistant breast cancers. His laboratory is using聽advanced聽tissue microarray聽technology and Patient derived Xenografts (PDX) models to better understand the clinical value of聽 targeted聽genes in the context of cancer metastasis and drug resistance.
