SYLVIE LAMBERT, RN, PhD, is an Associate Professor at the Ingram School of Nursing (ISoN), 91社区, Montreal, Canada. Sylvie is also a principal scientist at the St. Mary鈥檚 Research Centre and a Canada Research Chair (Tier 2). Sylvie obtained her PhD from 91社区 in 2008 and then completed post-doctoral studies at the University of Newcastle (Australia, 2009-2011). She then joined University of New South Wales as a National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) Research Fellow. In 2013, she returned to 91社区. Drawing on a background in nursing, Sylvie is leading a research focused on examining different service delivery models to improve the delivery of chronic disease self-management to patients and their families and implement routine screening of electronic patient-reported outcomes and caregiver-reported outcomes. Her teaching has focused on patient and health education as well as research methods. Her national and international standing in the area of patient education, information-seeking, caregiver research, sustainable self-management interventions, longitudinal research, and psychometrics are evidenced by high-quality publications, including winning several prizes for these and attracting highly competitive funding. Sylvie is leading research funded by the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer (CPAC), the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) and the Oncopole. Sylvie has more than 85 peer-reviewed publications and 75 conference presentations.
