The Montreal °ä³ó¾±±ô»å°ù±ð²Ô’s Hospital. Cedar Avenue building.
The Children's Memorial Hospital opened in 1904 in a small building on Guy Street. In 1909, the increasing number of patients required a move to a new and larger building on Cedar Avenue. Further growth led to a second move in 1956 to 2300 Tupper street – the site of the Western Division of the Montreal General Hospital – where it became the Montreal Children's Hospital / L'Hôpital de Montréal pour Enfants. In 2015, the hospital moved once again to the Glen site of the 91ÉçÇø Health Center. The Tupper street buildings (except for the Nurses' wing) were demolished in 2019 to build residential and commercial dwellings.
